No upload in Oppo, since at least a couple of weeks. But today I discovered that you can drag & drop to imgur.

Hey McMike. Thanks for the additional information & taking standard protocols on clearing cache/restarting browser. We'll look into this further and keep you posted. Thanks!

Thanks.
Clearing Cache is SOP for Kinja. That's usually the first thing I do.
Happening with 10.8.5/FF27.0.1, too.

Can't upload images from 10.8.5/Safari6.1.1, either.

Confirmed this issue in the old design. While we work on getting this fixed, you should still be able to upload in Kinja 1.2.

I was afraid of that. They only way to enjoy Kinja is to use new Kinja. :(
I'm currently sitting here in a dark corner holding out with with Tiger off.

I felt Tiger was oddly well received, so whenever I encounter someone who is against the change I have to ask why.. Why?

Probably the same reason others are resisting. I can't figure out the layout of the comments. I think it's terrible. Click on a time stamp, you get one view, click on the comment itself, you get another view. I don't get it. I feel that it's more complicated that it needs to be. I'm sure Denton has some great vision on how "Easier" it is, and perhaps there's some profit to be had with the layout. Who knows.. All I know is that it's hard to follow.
Remember in 10.7 when Apple rolled out document versioning? When you didn't have to save changes to a file, and it did it for you? Same thing. Or even when Apple (was it 10.6 or 7, I can't remember) revered the mouse scrolling by default? How about Windows 8? Yeah, let's take away everything familiar you know about our product - just for the sake of change.
I'm waiting for Apple to go away with the QWERTY keyboard for some new layout that is "10% more efficient" and "The most logical keyboard ever" as their user base goes back to two-finger pecking to type while they are searching for keys.
Change isn't a bad thing, but man... When the sorting/following of the comments are a big FU to the users, the users get pissed.
The layout and redesign isn't bad. I don't mind fumbling around the header looking for menus and navigation, but I'm here for the comments and the discussion.
I tried Tiger a few weeks ago. There were help posts on observation deck, as well as some help here in Oppo, and I still don't get it. Why does someone need an instruction manual to navigate comments on a website?
After I read that it was still beta, I switched back and realized I should wait until it is as mature as possible before switching back, since bugs are fixed/introduced hourly whenever changes are rolled out.
It is what it is. Again, I will relearn this site. I just don't understand the need to scramble things up so often.

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. The discussions will definitely become more readable as we get more toward a production release, hopefully it will be at a point where yourself (and plenty of other community members) will be comfortable after a short period of acclimation. And as always, were here to help you guys, be it by answering your questions or by passing feedback up the chain in order to spur a change.
